Thank you for welcoming me to the forum. My name is Nicolas, I am a sound engineer and since the age of 15, I have been interested in recording techniques. I saw the birth of cassettes, then DAT, MiniDisc and SD card recorders. I obviously used reel-to-reel tape recorders a lot. I am living in France. I love doing tape recorder restorations: reel-to-reel and cassettes.

Welcome to the forum, we love that vintage recording equipment, feel free to share any of your audio equipment! I picked up a mint four-track Tascam Portastudio years ago for cheap, now that cassettes are back in style they units are going for silly money. One of these days I have to belt it and give it a try.
