I'm a vinyl-loving girl from England very much of the mind that modern tech can't beat the classics! Brought up in the eighties, I am finally getting around to owning all the devices I couldn't afford as a kid. Yes... I still wear a Casio watch, I still make mix-tapes (mix-CD doesn't sound the same) and I'll argue 'till I'm blue-in-the-face that vinyl sounds MUCH better than downloads!

My prized possessions are two Sharp VZ-1550 linear tracking stereos, one of which is sadly in the loft awaiting my attempt to repair it or to find someone else who can.

Most recently I've bought a Sony Walkman Sports WM-F63/73, for which I'm urgently trying to find a new drive belt. If anyone knows of any UK stockists, or international sellers who can deliver in a couple of days, I'd be grateful for the info.

    Welcome Amy.

The Walkman belt Boodokhan linked to is from one of our members. I have bought several from him. Unlike the generic belts his are the correct thinness.

I had to check out the Sharp VZ1550. Strange to think that one side of the record is played completely upside down in the one.The Vertical VZ3000 series are now really sought after and go for about the same as they cost new.

Heh, another owner of a Casio watch I see. I share your opinion on vinyl, no digital file beats its sound.
Worst case it's always worth it to check ebay if you're in need of spare parts or things like belts. For some models you might be able to find recurring offers, so that's a plus.

PS: I've seen in another thread of yours that the old belt melted in your sports walkman. Make sure you clean the remains of it off the motor appropriately before putting the new belt on. Otherwise the old rubber might cause friction that impacts the mechanism.
