    Mister X has been lucky enough to find two of these massive beasts in the wild. These were the last of the golden age and had some hints of the next wave but they still had some neat features, circa 1986.

    Another version found in Audio Magazine 1986, this is super-rare finding a boombox ad in Audio, they didn't seem to be the target market. I always felt the home stereo guys really looked down on portables but Tosiba put out some big money for this full page ad.
