    Hi all after a childhood with my trusty Hitachi trk I am scooping up 8290/8190 , and YouTubing my way through restorations ..
    No real electronics skills so it’s tough going hopefully this forum will be a shoulder to cry on !

    Welcome and good luck, that's a very nice boombox. The ones with top controls can be tough, they get really dirty over time.
