So here it is my first SHARP 5P 37G In near mint condition from Germany. As usual had to make a safari to post office to find it (serious guys from post get a life or close you are not providing any service) Everything works! Superb box never owned one so this is my first time with TV boxes! The story: The box belonged to a collector from Austria. His son/daughter is currently transferring more than 200 boxes to Germany! But one of them escaped and went near the sea and the sun! Respect to packaging and condition of the box as described! I wanted to alter the box by installing a new screen TV tuner,now i am having second thoughts due to the condition which is better than expected. Some minor scratches here and there. Enjoy the pictures detailed ones will follow with better light conditions.
Nice TV box, like it, had the same model a while ago, was also going to mod it with a LCD screen but then unfortunatelly had no time for that and sold Sharp to my hobby pal.
I can only say maybe a "sidekick" to the Victor JVC TV box but much nicer than shown in pictures! Its bigger than my sharp GF 9696 on the back!
I am thinking of installing a switch if possible to have sound from tape/radio/bluetooth ext source and at the same time have a video picture. Tough one technician must know or think of something smart !
