Hello I need a service manual for a victor boombox model RC-x750 Its a Japanese import model and its only giving headphone level audio from the speakers we tried to replace the IC amp all ready no luck. Its acting like its stuck on ear phones even though none are plugged in.
Good luck I don't see anything online, maybe there's a short in the headphone jack, does that work normally?
You realise that JVC = Japan Victor Company, so it is worth looking for JVC manuals as well. I did find this discussion on the X740 which is probably similar https://www.eevblog.com/forum/repair/help-repairing-jvc-rc-x740/ Other than that it would be worth finding the datasheet for the Amplifier IC and checking the voltages around it. You might be missing a supply voltage or something.
