This weekI had to visit Madrid for work and met a guy that is also a cassette fan. He took me to the Cassetteria, a very curious cassette label that also has a store where they sell their own releases as well as old cassettes, new launches and even walkmans and decks. He has many walkmans and stuff displayed there, very interesting: This is displayed just after entering the store: His collection of walkmans And new old stock cassettes: As well as the usual modern rubbish: And here are the machines he uses to make his own releases: His website: https://lacassetteria.com and thei Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lacassetteriamad Just in case you want to visit it, here it is: https://maps.app.goo.gl/nCJTxDDkR5StThNKA
How'd I miss this thread? Killer shop, I kind of had the same dream years ago and that justified my unruley spending. Unfortunately over here property taxes will kill your investment, one shop I looked at would have been $1000 USD/month just for taxes, I have no idea how small businesses can do it and this was 15 years ago, it's probably double now. I'm dying to know what that Pacman Walkman is?
I think here there's a much lower taxes for property, although renting is expensive. it's more a frame with a design:
