Hi! Got a TCS-470 wich did not work, changed drivebelt and all seemed to be good but it did not wind up the the tape. After some some troubleshooting I found a crack in the black gear located between the motor and battery. Took of the white gear with its clip and could pull out the spindle with its axle and then remove the black gear. Very difficult to repair or glue the gear as the axle is pushed in to the gear and act as a friction clutch. My solution was to drill one very small hole abt 1 mm in each side of the crack and took some cotton sewing thread moistered it and made two loops as hard as I could and tied a knot. And it worked. The picture of the gear shows a wire and glue, this did not work.
