walkman with good sound quality

    so i recently purchased a wm-ex615, and while it sounded great, the controls hardly worked and i couldn’t get it to fast forward or rewind. i replaced the belt, but now it won’t even play at all or indicate that it’s on. i’m wondering if anyone knows how to troubleshoot these issues.
    i’d also be very willing to sell for parts and purchase another good sounding walkman, if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks in advance

    You sure you put the belt correctly? Take the cover and look how walkman react when you push Play.

    Make sure you check the battery, does this have a gumstick battery? A few photos would help.
