about 2 weeks ago there was a WM-3EX box (without walkman) on eBay. I missed the auction and the box sold over $500. When it comes to packaging this is the most beautiful walkman box with red velvet covering. Anyway, I have few of them and still looking for more, 3EX is a highly collectible walkman. I hope you find one. while the sound quality of a DD9 if far better than a 3EX, the value of 3EX is equal or higher than DD9. So your offer to give up a DD9 for a 3EX is a fair trade. By the way, how is the quality 0f your DD9?
I have a few DD9's so depending on the condition of the WM-3EX a choice would be offered for the 3EX that was agreed as consistent and a fair trade.
