On Ebay the only prices worth looking at are the "Sold Listings" I did find http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5x-SONY-M...459872?hash=item41b51d2320:g:r08AAOSwGYVW-wIm and http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1x-TEAC-S...135831?hash=item1c74b57ed7:g:-3kAAOSwImRYIf~4 which seem very expensive but are what people actually paid. Does anyone know what these cost new ? It seems that blank cassettes were probably a better investment than any Boombox or Walkman.
I did message the seller for this Walkman as he was knocking it out at £60.00 and £7.50 pnp http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262937093...eb0f1f24cb8&bu=43848570216&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu Would you pay for this?
If you decide to buy this model find the one in excellent cosmetic condition. Sony logo on the front side and looks beautiful when the cosmetic condition is good. So this one on Ebay shows horrible cosmetic condition and i am sure it doesn't work. So i wouldn't buy it
I would not buy it, unless you really got to have one. You can just make an offer for what you think it's worth and see if he accepts. Personally i would not have it, even if it is free it looks a mess.
I don't see anything wrong with those 2 auctions. The Teac Cobalt is indeed more rare than the more common Teac Sound 52 tapes. And yes many people would be interested in that Sony box, if they collect tapes and want the original box. 10 euros is pocket lint.
What is wrong with people, are they blind as well as stupid? or are they smoking something WM-DC2. The Seller is laughing all the way to the bank good luck to him or her.
...funny thing is: if i would dig out my two or three DC2 (...clicker) and put'em for sale, they'll go for max 50 bucks only...
