Hi all. Finally got time to properly look into the Dolby bass switch on my F501 and have determined that I need to replace the switch completely. The difficult part is that this seems impossible to come across short of buying a second F501. Is it possible to source the part separately or am I out of luck?
Separately you're pretty much out of luck. While not impossible, it's more likely to find a spare board than such a switch. You will need either another F501 or a donor that uses the same switch. You can look the part number in the service manual and compare with similar models.
