WM Fx-123

    I have a very weird issue with sony wm fx-123.I have the FM and AM functions working fine and playing audio through the audio jack but, when I switch to tape I don't hear any audio. I first thought the belt must have been worn out so, I opened the walkman and noticed it was intact. This has happened only today on a CrO2 tape and I also changed the tape type from Normal to CrO2/Metal before I hit the play button. After piecing them together my FM/AM is also not working properly now. I don't know what went wrong.

    P.S. I also am missing the spring that holds the play button up, I would like to know if I can find a replacement for this.

    Possibly the selector switches just need a cleaning.

    if you’re Stateside, I probably have mechanism parts you need. Have a pic of the missing spring area? I’d it the shallow V spring?
