Had a Marantz 232B until a few years ago. It was the cleanest sounding tuner/ amp I'd ever owned. The weighted dial for the tuner just oozed quality.

The Marantz 2600 in one of those scans, and in one of the systems, goes for big money on Ebay.  Close to 5 big ones if they come up for sale which is not too often.  I have the 4400 and it is a beauty and sounds absolutely fantastic.  I guess the 2600 is over 200 watts per channel with basically 0% distortion.  And you can't beat the scope which can provide hours of entertainment!

Best stereo I have owned yet. Marantz is there. The quality and everything. 

I plan on getting mine restored soon..

And of course, getting GREAT speakers! Currently I am running my JBL P20's with it. I plan on getting some Sansui's or maybe some Marantz speakers to match the unit. 

I had this 2275.....great unit.....but I sold it cuz I decided I like traditional round tuner knobs better.
