A few weeks ago i got the MEGAMAX 4000 Disco machine i posted.



Also remember the bad packing when shipped.
Something was rumbling inside, the toplights smashed and non working.
So opening the box.
Ouch, all screws rusted and the holders broke when opening
And what fells out?
The trafo of the discolites!


The box has 2 big trafos inside.
One for radio, one for the lights and ball

The 2 screws don´t hold the trafo!!
They are holding 2 metal plates, the trafo ist putted between. The a metalplate in front with 4 ears that should hold it...


Great luck the cables was strong and short, so it does´nt smash around inside.

Strange chinese ones, not very powerful, but ok


The biggest problem was to get the lights on top working. After a repair of them, they won´t work.
When plugging in, the ball stops working.
After some controlling all cables, i´ve seen there must have somebody worked inside.
So i found one powercable was broken and soldered at a wrong point.
After correcting it, it started working!


I love this discobox for the impressive look.
Don´t expect an high quality unit! It´s cinese made! But the look is unique, no question.

Simply question - simply answer:

NO!

This unit works only on AC !
Where the battery-compartment uses to be, is the storage for the discoball and the projectors.
For outdoor use, would be best at car batterie and DC-AC changer..
