Well, I finally got around to popping open one of my CS-J77's as I could hear the cassette motor spinning non-stop. I knew the belts were gone... oh boy where they gone... turned to tar. I cleaned them out and got the motor to stop... so now I can play it LOUD in peace and quite

There rest of the unit is in great shape and I really like the sound of this box - the bass is warm and deep and treble is nice and crisp!

What I really need to know is what size the belts are - can anyone please help?

Also, where is the best place to get them (I cant be assed running around Tokyo to find a set ) ?
