HOT TIP FOR SHARP GF777 CASSETTE DOOR THAT WONT CLOSE PROPERLY.....USUALLY WORN PLASTIC ON THE CASSETTE DOOR HINGE....WHAT I DID IS HEAT UP MY SOLDERING IRON WITH A FLAT END ON IT AND PRESSED THE HINGE WHICH SHOULD MELT THE PLASTIC BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL SHAPE ...WORKED A TREAT....BE CAREFULL THOUGH......DONT GO BLAMIN ME IF IT GOES WRONG.......(STEADY HAND REQUIRED)

Dave,do you agree that the inges on a 777 are the most monumental cock-up that sharp ever made ? why oh why did they make it that the only thing the doors could hinge on is 2 tiny little plastic weak peggs, same as on the GF575..worst idea they ever come up with mate..
TOTALY AGREE GM...WHAT A REALLY BAD IDEA....ANYWAY HOPE MY IDEA HELPS OUT A FEW COLLECTORS WISHING TO GET THEIR DOORS SWINGING AGAIN...............
