Panasonic RX-5350 slight speed variation

I checked the pinch roller and the tension. It looks fine. I replaced all the belts with new ones. It was a little tricky to open it up and put all back together. I was so careful and did an excellent job! I cleaned the pulleys and flywheel rubber track surface with alcohol to remove any residue. Now the tape plays fine and once in a while it slows a little for a few micro seconds. I lubed the capstan and the pinch roller carefully with very little oil. The power switch contacts were cleaned with Deoxit. I don't know why this speed variation for a few microseconds is happening. Any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome. Please advice

i would check the cassette motor to see if it has a speed control screw.

Hi Floyd, Thanks for your suggestion! I don't see any screws on the exterior motor surface. Let me know where else I can locate it. Thanks Tap Toes
