Hi all. Yesterday i bought half-dead M 50, lot's of problems there, now, after some long cleaning it is ready fro repainting. Question is, what is main speakers original colour? i just can't understand it, was it blue, or something like grey..Thanks!

I think they were blue like the M-70's. I think they used the same speakers,but I could be mistaken.

I have a mint RC M50 I have the entire RC M line, the 50 speakers are the same dark blue colour as the RC M90, they appear similar, all but the size,I find the sound of the M 50 not up to the other RC M's weak bass, it has a great look though with lots of extra's.

I am waiting on two RC M50s (2 to make one good one).

I will then have a doner M50 for those who are interested (in a few weeks).

I have the whole RC M line too... (times 2) and I have to agree totally. They hit the mark on style with the M50 and missed on the bass. Still a great box though....

...the M50, M70, and M90 have blue speakers but the m50 and M90 have a coating on the speakers that give them a dark grey appearance.When taking an M50 apart you will notice the back of the speaker is blue but the front will always look grey due to the coating. The M70 did not have this coating and that is why it's speakers look very blue. You will never find an M50 or M90 with speakers as blue as an M70.

after some heavy repairing it is fully working now. I am pretty happy with it's bass, really can't say that this box has worst bass. With iPod's EQ turned to "hiphop" it sounds very nice indeed in my opinion.
