Hello again
.
I hope you don't hang me.. i made a new mod today.
Here is my GF-7500 with a Line-in:
Front
and back
Pressing radio button will power up the radio and while you are in radio "mode" it is possible to select two modes:
-when line-in is selected the radio will be disconnected and line-in can be used.
-when radio is selected the radio will be powered up but you can still use line-in if you want. There is a simple mixing circuit.
It sounds really good! Very clear and interference free sound. Now this 7500 is a lot more usable.
If you can't understand my english, please tell. I will then try again
. And ofcourse please ask if someone wants to know more how i made this.
Very nice. I would prefer a more attractive, sleek, switch installed on the top of the box rather than the rear. That way, you wouldn't have to turn the box around to switch it. A mod is a mod, so it's not original anyhow. Painted silver like the body, the switch would look almost OEM.

You are right. The switch is not at the best place now. I wanted to keep the original look. Actually its very easy to switch and doesn't require taking it from the shelf because you know it's there

Ok, i will try to write my changes into the schematics. This Sharp may be my best quality Sharp. Really easy to disamble and even the speakers cables are removable without cutting pliers
. The 9696 is pain to disamble, anyone know how to remove the pcb easily?
