I'm glad that U like it, thanks mates! Master, shure it does work, it is still mono, but the left speaker is connected to the right one. There's bass and trebble controls. No Fm unfortunately, only some soviet useless waves, but this thing works great with iPod. I had a plan to instal a secret place for a 0.5 l bottle of schnaps in that left speaker area, it is pretty empty
. Such secret place could be very usefull during some festivals, when you go from the camping place to concerts zone and when the bouncers are checking "everything":]. But seems like, there's no enough of place there :]
hey brigadier, get a super jumbo
you could stick a 24 pack in the back of one
very empty boxes
Really nice job but I can't help wondering why go through all that trouble for a mono box? I'm thinking drop $20 for a true already stereo boombox and be done with it. Of course you wouldn't have the satisfaction of having done something special like this so maybe there's something to this.

R.A. no probs, just gimme two monos and ~ 3 days:]. Loo, thanks, at last i understand, that Jumbos really can be usefull:]. Very cool avatar, btw! Stormin, here in eastern Europe, Lithuania we have just couple of hustlers, who are selling (some cool) boxes for minimum 200 bucks. It is to expencive for me right now and i can imagine for how much are they getting stuff from Germany, when they buy cars for re-selling. I have one mate here, he's megacollector and he is making sometimes good offers for me. But there's no such thing like garage sales and at flea markets people are selling EVERYTHING, but not the boxes. I know, there's some boxes sometimes at one big flea market in other city, but it is to far away from me, like 300 km, or something and u never know, what is possible to get. Still, all what i can do is to ask my mates, or to ask them to ask their mates etc. :] " maybe someone of u have some old cassette radios?.. Maybe your parents do?.."
.
And there wasn't nothing special with that ol' soviet mono..I really like monos, but not that one.. It is well built inside, sound is good to, but the design...And i really like sometimes to do something like this. To re-paint, to add some new "chrome", or to make such
eastern European kind of funk , like this one. Greets to all of you, fellas!
