Hello to all. So, I took it upon myself to entirely restore a sadly neglected Conion C-100 unit. I have managed to successfully get everything to work - Except for figuring out the cassette gate; Is it spring loaded (like most other systems)? If so, where is the spring mechanism located? I just cannot figure this out and where it would go....... I would sincerely appreciated any assistance ( a schematic would be fabulous Cheers!

Hi! I also restore the Conion C100. The mechanism of how cassete gate are interested, the tape 1 or tape 2?

I'm actually referring to the traditional cassette door, not the one in which you slide the tape in (like a car stereo system). I hope that someone which some expereince can chime in since it would be a shame to leave it as is. I've examined the mechanism with scrutiny and just cannot comprehend as to where a spring would be achored - If it is indeed sprig actuated? Thank You Very Much in anticipation of your assistance
