i got hold of my all time wanted yesterday a unisef cosmetically its mint and the geezer said he never used the tape decks as it was used just radio for shop , i put a tape in and was playing it when i put my hand on back case and knocked it the was a loud buzz like feedback/reverb turned if off and back on all sound it gone then cleaned handle and it dropped down and the buzz noise came back , turned on off and it disapeared, so today took back off and wasnt much dust in back so gave a quick clean put back together and turned on and when the box gets a slight knock then there is a loud buzzing noise and you carnt here anything else does anyone know whats causing it or how to find out and how to fix the problem ,as dont want to get worse cheers daz ive also cleanded both tape heads with cleaner tape but as i said above it only buzzes when the box gets a knock

well i dont know if it is due to this but hasnt done it since and lavloo i did have to take my bags of sands out off my sky rockets to do this but i read somewhere on here or other forum that fridgefreezers cause interferance and guess what i had it next to the fridge on worktop and plugged in a double socket with the fridge so put on dinnigtable on otherside of room and plugged in took hands out pocket and went through the same motions and nothing or am i just lucky

and as amiga said could be down to earthing well we had a kitchen refit a year ago and they didnt know what they were doing maybe cause they where from the council and it took 4 of them to figure out how they wired it up yes they wired it up but couldnt figure how THEY wired it either too much weed or not enough crack

Thats great news daz.. Actually I have the same fault with both of mine when there plugged in next to my modem.. so that was going to be my next sugestion... im glad she is fixed mate. nice one
