I bougth a CF580 yesterday !!!

GREAT machine, perhaps the more complex I've ever openned.

So THANKS you to the service manual !!!, it would be very useful as you guees, since It needs service ... I'm guessing a blown power supply ...

Definitely that machine is a tank, boards everywhere you look inside, and the side speakers are a rare feature ... I can't belive that !!!!

As I've tested with external supply, good sound, and nice bass coloration. But I can't figure at full power ... the external supply that I used was weak ... Also a cleaning job in all rotary pots is mandatory.
Deck works fine, a little slow ... (again could be the supply) .. but stable that's good, because there's a chance of adjust.

mine is by far -- THE heaviest per volume --
and sounds really strong --
