Welcome Lazanas, I don't have any pics for you but your avatar is cracking me up.
Anyone?
I have a cs600. But I don't know what size belt it uses. But I know it uses three belts. One short square cut belt for the tape counter,One square cut belt for the rewind and fast forward idler and a large flat main belt. If you really need me to I can take mine apart and take a picture of the cassette drive so you can see how the belts are routed.

I found it in the AIWA
Skippy, have I placed the belts (so far) correctly?
Hi Lazanas,
That bit is part of the recording system which detects if the protection tabs on the cassette have been removed. I'm not sure what it's called though, record interlock maybe?
Here's a pic of my CS-660 deck with the part fitted, looks like it just clips in.

Thanks Fuzzy!
soon the 600 will be fully working
And good luck with your 660 too!
Yup,There is a smaller belt that goes from the back of the large aluminum flywheel to the white plastic pulley directly above the main flywheel. There are three belts on your unit ,total. The smaller belt you need is for the forward and rewind takeup reels.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!~~
it works! IT WORKS!!
Thanks to everybody who helped me out!
AWESOME,congrats! I knew you could do it.
Nice work!
good work
