A few time ago i saved an old SOUND-TECHNIC box from a friends garage.
Not very good condition, but interesting.
Missing the 2nd tapedoor and the switch radio-tape is broken.
First i only wanted to test it and located it next my Pc-desk playing radio.
But i think it will stay for a longer time there, i like this scrappy box....
But i disliked the missing tapedoor, the dust comes so into the box.
Getting the original door will be impossible.
Maybe any time...?
So i took a part of a thin hardplastic plate in the factory. It was cutable easily.
Then i mounted it at the box with doublelayer tape.
An old sticker finished the design.
The switch is locked this time with a littlebit glue.
A few pics of the work:
Not a professional repair, but better than a "hole".
Everything is reversible, so there are no damages if i will find the missing parts any time.
Nice repair Roman.
You forgot to place the cassette in that deck first.

Hahaa, thats right!
But i will do it so:
Next time i try to repair the switch, in 2 weeks i will get maybe an part-spender! Found this moment in the net.
But only for the switch, the doors are other.
Then i will plant in my old adapter-cassette.
So i can connect it with CD-walker, mp3,....
Coming soon, stay tuned!
