Ok I have tried deoxit and have no luck , just seems worse. right channel only at low volume, very noticable if you balance to left then nothing (no static). I will try headphones as soon as i get chance. Also worse when there is more bass. Also I noticed transformer hot even when not playing. I read one post where there was current causing static in 1 channel. Any other ideas. Maybe crossed wires

Ahh ok, well at least speakers are far more easily replaceable than an amp component or something else that could require a professional repairer.
