Hello all, right side speaker plays at very low volume,tinny sound through tweeter and woofer.About half volume,right speaker gets louder but still tinny, and when you turn it up the volume goes down. Any ideas? I have cleaned all switches and controls.

Thanks for the response, cleaned both very well, the woofer sounds exactly like the tweeter, highs only; speaker works when jumped from other side..any ideas??

In what function does this occur? Radio, tape, line in, phono? Or is this the same condition regardless of function selected? This may at least point us in the right direction in determining cause and cure.

Thanks very much for the help,, was occurring in all functions, seemed to need warming up. Found indeed the slider was faulty, to get it to work turning the power on and off a few times while moving the slider made the connection.Extensive cleaning of slider with toothbrush yielded some results, it is easier to produce sound than before.. BTW does anyone know where I can find a 25 ohm volume slider for this unit?

hi stynger007, i had the same prob with mine, i post an ad in the wanted section and a member kindly donated a slider, dont think you can get them new anymore, def worth tring to source one as its a great sounding bbox. good luck hope you find one,
