Will the power cord to a DT680 also power a DT75. I just got my DT75 in the mail (disappointed with the purchase process, item was not as advertised), well anyhow, the power cord is missing. So I connected my dt680's to it, and the standby light comes on but when I hit the power button, the green pwer light comes on for a second then goes off and the stand by light comes back on.

Panabox try using batteries just to see how she operates. If you still have problems then you may want to PM Ramon he knows these Panasonics well. Smile

Thanks for all of your responses guys. I found out what the problem was. And rimmer36 you were right. I bought it from Europe and need a reverse converter for it to play in the U.S. So I'll be looking for one of those.
But today a lightbulb came on in my mind. With the amount of money that I have spent and will spend in purchasing this DT75, I could have put that towards hotrodding my 680. From this point foward I will divert most of my interest and funds towards making my 680 the audio monster I envision it to be. It already has a great start: features galore, amazing bass (even the really low passages), and a classic look. I have high hopes and a seemingly impossible approach in attaining them. It will require persistence and cash, and at present I don't have the luxury to be unrestrained with either. If anybody has any ideas on accomplishing this, I'm all ears. Thanks again to all!
