I have an older ipod 4 GB mini and it works awsome and charges all the time when plugged into the box. But I need to upgrade because 4 GB is not enough. Can anyone say from personal experience that the newer 8GB nanos work well in the I931!!!
I use it with a 8GB ipod, and it works well!
3rd & 4th gen Nanos are not supported by the i931 (although they might work...).
From the i931 manual:
I belive the i931 supports all earlier iPods that have a standard iPod dock connector (the earliest iPods didn't have one).
If it helps, a 1st gen Nano, a 2nd gen Nano & an 80GB iPod video (5th gen) all work fine in my i931.
my ipod classic 80GB works in mine but doesnt charge...
Thanks Guys
How about the use of all remote functions (to find a certain song or band)
yeh, I'd be interested on how useful an iPod classic, or a 4th gen Nano is in an i931...
It's not the end of the world if it doesn't charge, but if full iPod control is available from the the remote...
Just got 4th gen 8 gb nano and works great
all functions tested on I931 and work
