The cassette plays well,while playing i push ff and it scan to the next song,but if i push rewind it is very sluggish and shuts off.If i push rewind a few times it will kick in,but slower the the ff any thoughts.
The belts could be worn and/or the idler wheel underneath the flywheel is dirty. Either way, you will have to open it up to fix it.
