Anyone able to show me a pic of what these speaker wire plug ends look like.
I would like to get replacements as mine are not original.
Can you possibly get these at radio shack.
or maybe someone have any spares???
Also a question about the VU needles.
should they bounce to Radio as well as line in??
mine only seem to work with the tape deck.
Am I missing something or what????
They also dont light up which I believe they are supposed to??
Frank, I just received my studio 1 today. I will take some pics for you but I don't think my wires are original either
I think they are supposed to be flat and kind of fit flat into the hole for the connector. Mine are more round and stick out about an inch. I don't think the VU's work on radio
mine do not. They should light up. The sound of this machine is impressive probably the best or one of the best.
Eric
I've got one too , transam guy. The vu's only work with the tape deck and the connectors for the speakers is a small, two pin connector. no rca jack. I think it's telefunkin's own hardware they use.
Mine are not original so this won't help you much, but this is what they look like on my box.
I believe the real one's are flat and the wire comes out at a right angle to the box. So if you find a source.....

Thanks for the pic.
Thank you guys for the answers to my questions about the vu's.
I guess my bulb is burned out.
I think I might change them to blue anyway I like the way that looks better.
The original plugs I believe are flat, but at least you have plug ends that plug in.
Mine were clipped off and two separate pins were crimped on. they don't fit right and look like poo.
Can you please give me one more pic of the plug with the pins face out???
is one pin flat and the other rounded?????
here is the original connector

No, these 2 pins are flat but one is bigger.
yup, mine look just like Ak's....
Well Mine look different than the first couple of pic's here
and I havn't ever uplugged these speaker's as mine seem to have some
Electrical grease still on them,
to keep them from corroding, I guess.
