Hi I acquired a boombox that looks in great shape. The problem is the sound from one speaker is almost nothing (very low) and the other one seems normal. I tried headphones with the same result, one loud speaker and one quiet one. The balance switch seems to be okay. No static at all when switching from side to side. Any ideas on what I should be looking for if and when I take it apart? Thanks in advance...

hi classic and welcome to the site,, the only thing i can think of is did you use some contact cleaner on the volume ,balance and funtion switch just to rule out anything else a dirty contact will cause some problems and on some radios the band switch will cause a lost of audio to one channel
