Just got a AUDIOTON Master Blaster.
Never seen such big Machine before.
It´s now my biggest box.



But there is a problem.
Only the right speaker is working.
At the left side there is only whispering.
The speaker must be ok, because over headphone it´s the same.
All switches cleaned, njet.
So i think anything at the end-amplifier must be blown?

Anyone a idea what to do?
Anyone had the same problem?

I have no idea about the issues, but gratulation on the deal , was watching it 2 .

As for the quiet left channel, since all the switches are cleaned, the only other possibilities I can think of (that is, hoping it's not an amp issue), are (1) the record (internal) switch may need cleaning...this is fairly common. (2) A less common situation, (but one I had to deal with on my Sharp GF-555) was a bent pin (and heavy dirt accumulation) in the headphone output jack. In my situation, one of the connectors (that disengage built in speakers) was damaged, as it was making partial contact to ground, plus the heavy build up of dirt and gunk was preventing one of the channels from working properly. It took a while to discover this, but was finally able to correct it.

The VU´s are also only flashing at the right side. Wish me luck to get this monster working.

Every slider of the equalizer is illuminated for it´s own. With 10 LEDs!
At the back 2 doors for tape storage.
