I've tried hooking up my MacBook using the i931's AUX input... Doesn't seem to work and all I hear (after I crank up the volume) is a humming sound and very low music. Has anybody else had this problem?

If you pull the plug out of the 931 slightly do you then get sound?

Suprise! I dont have a MacBook therefore I cannot emulate your problem, However is the output voltage of the Mac High enough voltage wise to be recognised by the Lasonic,

Because I Know that a Sony Walkman or a Sony Discman will work through the Aux input of the Lasonic i931.
