does any one know how to take of the cs 880 grill. and has any one have pics on how to mount the main speakers gasgets ect
yes , its ugly , but easy enough . .
It's just like any other grill , but massive ! !
its only held in place from the inside of the front casing. The metal is folded over like tabs.

thanks ben i see them but the ally trims on the side are hiding 3 screws on each side, how do you get these trims of
there glued , you gotta ease em off . . gentle like

sorry mate , no . . Im gonna retract the easy part of my first post . .I forgot all the grill tabs are glued over ! !
hacksaw blade , tapped under those side panels maybe ?
Geoff,I used a heat gun and gently heated and scraped of the extra adhesive that is around the bent over tabs. Then I gently pried the tabs and straighten them with a flat needle nose pliers. Then it pried the grill off with a sturdy dull Table butterknife. It's not really that bad,just work at it you'll get it. Just take your time and curse a little.
geoff --when you finally get to putting the side panels back on --use a good double-side tape --
if you glue them on --you are just making it again difficult for yourself or the next owner.

well the grill is off, what a pain in the ass, and all the dents are out, paint tomorrow

it all works fine ben, just need a set of original speakers, there is a set of sharps in at the mo, and need 2 original arials with posts
are the posts missing or damaged?

one of the areil post is to high, and t i think the other is to short
