My Sanyo 9880K doesn't have line inputs.There
are left and right ext mic. input on the back side of the boombox. These will produce sound from the speakers if feed my Ipods line level signal into them and press play on the tape deck. The resulting sound is very quiet,"tinny" and compressed sounding with no dynamics. What could be causing this?I am wanting to get high quality sound as you would from a line-in.
Curiously if I connect my Ipod to the "Ext. Speaker (min. 4ohm)"
outputs on the boxes side I get full range dynamics and good sound
.However the boomboxes volume control has no effect (obviously) when I try this.Even if I turn my Ipods volume control to maximum it just isn't loud enough to satisfy me.If I can't correct the mic. input problem, might it be possible to use these speaker outputs as a line-in with
good sensitivity?
