hello,how old is my sk 71 and how many cost when it was new? thank you!

its old my friend i used to have the sk-95 and before that the sk-31 and that was back in 1986 cost as i got mine used so not sure what they cost back then

i am pretty sure the sk-95 was around four hundred fifty bucks when it was new. not one hundred percent sure but i remember when i went in to buy a boombox back in the day. the two top models they had on the shelf at the video only shop were the pioneer and the jvc m70 there. both of them i remeber being 450 bucks that i didnt have. so left the store with some crazy atari system and a couple of cartridges.

I've been thinking about adding ONE pioneer to my collection... This is a candidate.

How does it sound? ie. compared to Sharp 9191 or JVC M-70?

jt the pioneer holds it own its not a screamer but the sound is very warm and bassy as i have the sk-95 sound wise better sounding than both the sharp and jvc..
