yo buddy, hope you get it sorted soon.
Can't help myself..but maybe there is one on the board?
Good luck!
PLEASE i need a pic from the inside
I could take some pics of mine for you, but it is different inside. It doesn't have the board you are showing at all. It has two smaller ones. If you still want to see what mine looks like, I can take some, but from looking at your pics I don't see how it could help..
it looks like one of the amp chips are toast and they rewired it to the remaing amps.....if so.....idiots.
Sorry i don't have a disco
please my friends...

I don't think there are any schematics available for this unit. Wish I could help.

Hey AK,
sorry about the late help, but we're flat out with a big 30 boombox rental job.
The fried chip which you circled is a TDA2822M. Its a small low voltage power amp which drives the lights in the speakers. The thick non original wires have probably been to hard wire the lights directly to the supply voltage so that they just light up all the time. Because the drive chip is blown. The question is why has the chip blown? Maybe a short circuit in the lighting circuit..maybe got just to hot..??
Let me know if you need more help, and I'll try and answer.
Cheers. Roddy
THX my friends
Kittmaster & Roddy....
