I bought a faulty kaboom (rv nb-1) from ebay last week thinking it was just a bit tatty but it just doesn't work. I took it apart and checked the two fuses inside and they're fine.. Does anyone have any idea where I should go from here? It literally won't power up when connected to AC mains (im in the UK). I wondered whether that was part of the problem - the fuses in there were 250v, is that how it should be?

Any help would be awesome. If I can't work this out myself, I guess it's up for spares sale

Well 1st did you know it was not working before you purchased it If you did not know you should get in touch with seller If you did know then you should try to see if it powers with batteries 1st....Good luck!!

i knew it was faulty before i bought it, thats why it was cheap.

i took it apart and all the rear of the unit has power, i checked the circuits.. the power is lost when it goes to the front - when you put the unit together some sockets connect and lock. something must be wrong here.

does anyone know anything about fixing kabooms? id really like some HELP here!
