Bought one of these a couple weeks ago at a thrift store for $10. in rough shape, but took it apart and cleaned everthing...

the only problem is that one of the the EQ sliders won't have any effect if moving it up and down. It is the middle frequency slider. it also has no resistance when moving the slider up and down, as if it not connected inside. I sprayed electronics cleaner in all the sliders and the others work well.

any thoughts? easy to pull apart and fix the slider somehow?

I do like the sound of cassettes on this machine through headphones, seems to have a decent tape section...
