I bought this Soundesign 4640 on Ebay supposedly 100% working but everything works except the LED meters.
I'm trying to get it all working as my friend had one just like it back in high school and he carried it EVERYWHERE with himI was thinking of surprising him with it when I see him sometime.
Any thoughts?
I did the obvious checks like connections etc,but I don't see anything obvious.I would LOVE to have it all working 100%.
It has pretty cool red and green LEDS..

skip have you tried pressing record then stop,record then stop a few times ? it happened to me on one of my crown sz5100,the leds stopped flashing,i did that and it solved it but only temprary,eventually i ended up spraying the main record switch inside with switch cleaner,also give the function radio/tape/aux selector switch a spray too with switch cleaner..hope that helps..looks like a pretty cool box,i like it..
