I have an m80 and there's no sound coming from the right speaker, just a slight sound and a bit of crackling.

does anybody know what the cause could be, and can it be repaired all comments appreciated?

check for loose wires How long has it been like this...since arriving from me or what???

YES The JVC RC-M80JW 30watt can be repaired as our's here has been in progress for a few days for repair's of 'it' based upon another thread we read about somewhere? and then found this one to work on....

but it is presently on back-burner cause of other Boombox  sale's

Take the back off and report back man...im not sure if the m80 has those same rubbish sliders the m70 has but it was ok here...i cant see a slider failing in the post

Subbo...if i remember it is a loose wire...there should be something inside supporting it..as i diddnt get around to solering it...solder the wire and you should be good to go...I do so many boxes its hard to remember whats what...but i think this is your problem

thats good ov you to offer cash back reno but it's ok now, i took back cover off and sorted it, its fine now, a wire had fell off.

hi dave not tried the headphones, i took the back cover off, and like reno said there was a loose wire, i connected it back and it seems to be fine now
