Popped it open to investigate before I bought some belts and Im a bit confused.
In the photos is what I believe to be involved in playback, I cant tell if its a wide belt like the one thats still there or if its a thin one, also is there a way to get a rough measurment so I know what I need to buy?
Another issue is things seem a little siezed, is there a particular thing I should use or is WD40 ok?
Thanks in advance guys, Im hoping to get this one servicable asap and when Im done Ill do a group photo of all the current items in my classic audio collection.

Forgot the pics, here we go
Dont use WD-40 for anything in your box as it is like a solvent! it is as well as a lube - or - combination stuff dont work so well when all you want it to do is (ONE thing ) - you pick what you want it to do but not both... the solvent in the wd40 also tends to destroy the rubber parts quicker...
use a drop of Lithium grease or somthing similar ( as light weight of a lube - that you can find ) to make things easier to move

belts that go round the large grey coloured wheel is usually a flat belt....belts that go round small pulley type wheels are normally square so they fit in the V groove of the said pulley......to get an estimated length...use a piece of string round the wheel or pulley and then measure the length of it....with this measurement, you can calculate the diameter and radius of the belt then order the size plus the belt above and below the measure.....if your in the uk, use cpc......they are pittence so do what i did, buy one of every type.....then you`ll never be stuck for a belt...top up your stock when you use one....

this is the link to the site belts page.....i dont think you need the whole kit....maybe 2 or 3 belts.....you gotta determine what type of belt your gonna need (sq...flat...round...etc)
before ordering and the size and type

Thing is I dont know what type is what, from what I think is the route it will take its around 50mm and is proberly not very wide, it appears to run under a wide flat belt, might be square or round I cant tell.

I think this is how its supposed to run but without a manual or a picture of a crown with the missing belt in I cant tell, it looks like its could be either the square or round.
