Hi guys,

i just found a 9494 at a garage when went to get my car oil change

Only problem with it is that the Treble and bass is not working, when i move them up and down from +5 to -5 no change at all in the quality of sound...still sounds ok but not incredible like it should

Any one would know by this description what the problem is or what to do?? cheap to get it fixed?

Control's are either dirty ( spray some 'Deoxit' ) just a brief small squirt of this solvent into each slider and work it back-n-forth , followed by blast of 'canned AIR' to see if improves sound, previously - normally - solves most instance's in Most boombox's

Deoxit Gold part no.,: G5S-6 for a 5 ounce spray can cost $14.95 USD last time we bought some...

Or controls are worn outand need replacement? or internally broken, if controls can be wiggled-then probally broken-Hope not.
