Hi guys/gals. Can anyone HELP?!  I have the Lasonic TRC931. The old square box not the newer rounded edge one. My problem is, when i turn up the volume i get loud static, scratching sound. Any way i can eliminate this withought the use of a canned product?

the best way to cure it unfortunately will have to be a canned product,switch cleaner is your best bet,or if you really dont want to use it,you could try a can of compressed air..

Install a new pot

If you don't want to use a pressurized can, then howabout a squeeze tube of DeOxit then?

A couple drops of that on the potentiometer and some finger twiddling should sort the scratching out.
