Hi, just got my VZ2000 and all pretty good apart from missing sliders and the fact that records play slow.

I suspect that this is down to the belt and the fact it is on its way out and needs replacing.

After having searched a few forums for instructions on how to do this I'm not sure I want to attempt it and potentially end up with an expensive and very large door stop!

Therefore, does anyone know of a person who can service these machines in the UK (preferably London) or can anyone offer their services?

I've a Sharp VZ-2000 that needs a new belt Record + cassette are the one's on ebay cool to use? Also could you give me the service guys details I'm also London based. I'll see how he does on Woodiz's before I use him

ive done quite a few of these, abit tricky, im in suffolk but i guess thats abit to far for you guys

Thank you for the response. I might take you up on it at a later date, I've actually got two VZ-2000's both need new belts! One also needs a new glass panel for the front door which I need to source. Can you also do the cassette belts on other Sharp GF models?

iv googled this before and come across a video of someone doing this and it helped a hell of a lot in my opinion, it gives you some idea of what to do right from the start...
