one of my line in plugs dont work, anyway to fix this without replacing?? thnx
hey man,it wont be the plugs mate,it will be the line in selector switch located on the back of the ghetto next to the input sockets,if its not too bad you might be able to just spray some switch cleaner in there, but usually they need stripping down and sorting out properly..
like beanie man said, could be the line-in switch in the back that needs some cleaner spray...try to get some
DeoxIT Contact Cleaner... when doing that its advisable not to have it plugged in the wall....and switch it back and forth repeatedly when spraying it so the spray seeps in...

yep defo,it's always that dam switch
thanx, after reciving your advice i went straight to radio shack and bought the deox it, just after sprayng the switch it moves, before it was stuck, oh my god that deox it its great!!! i spray couple of the other selectors on the 777 ,its syay to wait like 24 hours so tomorrow i will find out how it works, thanx all of you, im finding this of collecting boom box and other pieces of music related items from the 80,s kind of neat, it brings great memories,i just digg in an old book bag i have with recordings of 98.7 kiss fm i record in a trip to new york back in 1985 when dj red allert was in his prime. there was when i realized i wanna be a D.j., so now i started to collect pieces of memory items of my journey in the dj scene and integrating them as furniture pieces and adding some history to the pieces, for example i got a run dmc album that in the back cover is the gf 777 with jam master jay on it, so i will make a poster of that and hang it on the back of the wall where the 777 will be and also i have a picture of a b boy break dance freeze,i will do a big sticker of that photo and do an acrilic stand where the gf 777 will sit on it the b boy will be the stand, i did a photoshop of how it will look...... pffff nice!!!, i hope some one find this idea useful, thnx again
yesss, problem solved, thanx to all you ghetto blasters gurus, next step is make my gf 777 cassettes decks to work.
