Battery Compartment Foam...

I'm looking into replacing the foam inside the battery door of my M90. It was destroyed by acid leaks and I would like to restore it with the original colour/texture (or close to it) if possible. I replaced the spring and cleaned out the acid stains....I'm perplexed on the foam though
Any ideas where to look? Does JVC still sell the beige/brown foam for other battery applications.
All advice welcome!

Here is Canada you can get all types sizes and thinkness of insulating strips for around doors and windows ect. It's great because it's already adhesive on one side although it's only in black.

Thanks deliverance and Chris_69
I'd thought about the window insulation approach, but I wondered if the texture was close enough to the OEM stuff.
My first thought...get the original stuff and try to restore it, but I think that's not going to happen. So off to Canadian Tire or Home Depot to squeeze some foam
Thanks gents!

Before hitting the DIY places I wandered around work and found this foam. It's perfect!!
I brought some home and compared it to the original JVC foam from my PC550 and it's bang on!
Only it's charcoal and not beige but I can live with that!
I'll post pics of in place once I get it cemented in place but for now here's some comparison shots..
(note the light grey foam was the first I found and trimmed the middle was the one I found at work)
