I have a left volume slider that goes up to 3 and just cuts out. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? this unit is in mint condition besides that and dont want to sell if it can be repaired easily. Help me out!!!

ive had similar problems and contact cleaner sorted the problem,

yep i would say contact cleaner will do the job for sure

i have the same box,it was dead when i got it so i opened it  up and cleaned up all the contacts and now it's all good

I thought contact cleaner could damage the carbon traces

I have to add that after it reches 3 the sound cuts out/no sound at all after 3.

If deoxit gold (check local radio shack) does not work I would say it may need new slider.

I have same unit and it is one of the best for mids detail of all my boxes.

Yep Deoxit works wonders...just give it some soak time and voila!
